PART 2: Acne Tips I Wish My Dermatologist Told Me

**NOTE: PLEASE BE GENTLE USING THE EXFOLIATANT (first treatment- daily facial scrub) ON YOUR SKIN 🙂

Heyy! As you guys requested, here is my acne facial scrub and fading treatment video. I use the acne scrub on a daily basis, every morning after I brush my teeth. At night I use the fading treatment. I alternate the fading treatment with lemon juice every other night (as described in the video). These treatments have proven to be VERY effective against my acne and scarring. I SWEAR by them! I’ve been using them for almost a year and I’m glad I had the patience and consistency to follow through with them. I suggest testing out both treatments on a small patch of skin (ex. on your forearm) before using it on your face.

The amount that I made of each treatment in the video can be used over 2-3 days. I typically make a jar full of the facial scrub and store it in my washroom. I make the fading treatment every night that I use it (very easy!).

– 1 spoonful (tablespoon) of organic coconut oil
– 3/4- 1 spoonful (tablespoon) of raw honey
– half a lemon
– 2-3 spoonfuls (tablespoons) of brown sugar (you can use regular sugar as well but make sure it has relatively large granules to help with exfoliating your skin)

– half a lemon
– 1 spoonful (tablespoon) of plain organic yogurt

1. Organic Virgin, Coldpressed, Unrefined Coconut Oil (my favourite!)
-antibacterial, antifungal, antimicrobial
2. Raw Honey
-full of antioxidants
-antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral
-lightening properties
3. Lemons
-source of vitamin C to help build collagen
-natural astringent to brighten up your complexion and tighten your pores
-lightening properties (due to citric acid within it)
4. (Brown) Sugar
-source of glycolic acid, which is an alpha hydroxy acid that keeps skin healthy & vibrant
-its granulated particles help with exfoliating and clearing away dry, dead skin
-naturally moisturizes and conditions skin
5. Plain Yogurt
-contains lactic acid, which helps smooth rough skin, exfoliate and moisturize skin
-helps lighten blemishes & age spots
-anti-aging properties to help fight off free radicals (prevents wrinkling)
-tightens skin pores
