Hey everyone!

In this video, I talk about my experience trying the Eucerin Eczema Relief Body Cream and Flare Up treatment and if they work for my skin.
I got these products in the swag bag I received from the Eczema Society of Canada Info Session I attended in November. I found that they are available online at Walmart and run for about $11CAD. I haven’t personally gone to Walmart to see if they’re readily available in store.

The Eczema Relief Body cream is 226g or 8oz. The medicinal ingredient is 1% colloidal oatmeal and it comes as a thick, off white cream. It is hypoallergenic, fragrance, dye and steroid free. For the price, I think you get a decent amount of product.
I have used this since November on both my face and my body. It leaves a slight sticky feeling after rubbing it in (it doesn’t absorb readily). However, I use this product at night after showering, so the tacky feeling did not really bother me. As for my face, there was no reaction, no burning or itching. So this is great for a thicker night time moisturizer for winter for me.
However, the tube is starting to get harder to squeeze as I use it up. I think the product would be better in a tub, maybe, since its so rich. Overall, I really enjoy this product since it works well for my face and body.

The Eczema Flare Up Treatment has the same active ingredient as the cream. The tube is 57g or 2oz. It is slightly less rich than the body cream. For me, this did not work on its own to relieve a flare-up I had recently. However, it seems to be a great moisturizer. It also does not burn my face or cause itchiness when I put it on. Right now, I stick this in my work or yoga bag. I find it great to use right after yoga to prevent my skin irritation after hot yoga. I also put this on after being outside in the cold weather.
Overall, I think I would use this product, but not as a flare-up treatment. I think I’d just use this as a travel moisturizer.
I would recommend trying the body cream first. And for the price, I think its excellent, even if you just have very dry skin or looking for a winter moisturizer.
