I have just decided to try using the derma roller in hopes of improving my terrible deep acne scars. As you can see, they are pretty bad, so each week I will be uploading a new video to track the progress.
I am starting out using a 0.3mm derma roller for everyday use, but will shortly be incorporating a weekly session with a 0.5mm derma roller. I just wanted to test my pain tolerance level first!
Also, I am not currently rolling my whole face, just the problem area.
I purchased the 0.3mm derma roller from eBay. It was of no brand.
The serum I am using is a Vitamin C Serum 30% high potency L-Acorbic Acid for post derma skin roller care and is by the brand Annagaspi, which can be found for purchase here –
After the serum has absorbed into my skin, I use my nightly moisturiser cream. The cream I use is by Olay, and is for sensitive skin. This cream can be found in most supermarkets.
I hope you enjoyed the first video of this series. The next episode will be uploaded next week! So, don’t forget to subscribe 🙂
Note: I was not sponsored any of the products used in this video. I made this video purely to track the progress of what I hope is a successful treatment for my skin. I would be happy if my videos helped others who are curious about derma rolling! Please also remember to never use derma rolling over active acne, as this can irritate the skin more.
