Thyroid is an autoimmune disease. So quitting sugar is mandatory for autoimmune disease. So to reduce ad to maintain the fat, you have to first quit sugar from your diet. Second thing that you should observe complex carbohydrates and no simple carbohydrates like refined foods and refined sugars and maida, you have to eliminate from the diet. You have to take more of protein rich foods such as mushrooms. It is found that taking two cup of mushrooms reverses the thyroid and more protein rich foods like your breakfast should start with sprouts, milk and milk products, cheese etc. Include healthy drinks like tender coconut water, soup, butter milk, fresh fruit juice without straining. Drink green tea, upto 3 to 4 cups a day. Do some mild exercises like walking, jogging, running, swimming, yoga etc that would help you. So take healthy diet as well as do some workout and that would help you and take an advise form an expert dietician as to what foods should be eliminated from the diet, what foods should be taken more so that you will be able to achieve your goals and stay healthy.
